Support the Devon Mission Heritage Group
Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.
Tradition is the handing on of fire, not the worship of ashes.
Christ Church in The Pas Maintoba, through the Devon Mission Heritage Group was able to establish the 120 year old building, as a living museum in .
Not only does the museum hold artifacts from the 19th century the Church is a living, breathing, Christian community that worships together weekly and supports the local community through various outreach projects.
The pews that we sit on week by week are the same pews that were by built by the Richardson Expedition that was in search of Sir John Franklin.
Our fund raising efforts are a committment to preserving the past and to building a future for our community.
If you believe, as we do, that both preserving the history for the future are two sides to sustaining vital communities please consider a donation to the Devon Mission Heritage.
We have three donation categories:
1) a short term Event category for the celebration weekend in April,
2) the Devon Mission Museum which supports the restoration of the building, and
3) The Devon Mission Community Foundation which is building a fund to support not only the churches of the Devon Mission but also the communities of The Pas, OCN, and the RM of Kelsey.
